I love a few reviewers who couldn't figure out how to use this thing and then gave it bad reviews. idiots. Don't pack cigarettes on plastic. Just throw them in a hole where they lack oxygen and extinguish yourself. After the cigarette fell into the hole. This ashtray does a great job of keeping smoke out; I saw NO smoke coming from the sloping ceiling of the waiting area. Likewise. Yes. There is a metal insert at the bottom to prevent cigarettes from burning through the plastic wrapper. And also. Yes. It is detachable so you can clean it. So. When you open the lid to throw your asses in the trash, HOLD the metal liner so it doesn't fall in the trash too. I can't believe the two reviewers couldn't figure this out. I almost put two packs of cigarette butts in this thing on a long trip. It holds a decent amount but is still quite small. Lights suck and don't work well. So what. Cheap Chinese, but works. Holds a lot of cigarette butts, holds smoke very well, is small and unobtrusive, and quite attractive.
