Loved serving. Now it doesn't glow anymore, but I still use it. Update: After hearing a reply a second later, I was told to make sure it's getting light. It was in the middle of my car with not very light. When I put it on the dashboard for a while, it lit up again! Love it.

I received this to replace a similar ashtray from Marlboro that broke. It's almost identical except my previous one wasn't solar it had a battery which made the top very heavy which I think is the reason it ended up breaking. The top of this one is very light and opens easily compared to my previous one, so it's very nice.

I have tried several of these ashtrays. This one is definitely the best. Thanks to the wide opening there is less dirt around the ashtray. For stocks, the internal volume is larger. The light is not bright, but it is quite suitable for illuminating the area above the ashtray. Kinda comes apart to empty but works fine (hold over bin to open). As mentioned, this is my favorite so far.

If you put some baking soda in the ground like I did, this thing holds very few butts. The way it opens for deflation makes a mess of your disgusting cigarette butts. It says "stainless steel" but only the little cup at the bottom is steel, the rest is plastic! Buy something else. send it back, i just threw it in the trash where it belongs.

I am updating and updating my original review because I mistakenly thought that the word 'light' means this device can light cigarettes, but this feature is for a different product only available, sold by the same company. I like the overall design, but there are a few serious flaws. First, it has a small diameter at the base, making most standard cup holders too wide for it. That means it wobbles in height. Secondly, the slot for the mouthpiece is too wide, so while driving you will find your lit cigarettes fall into the ashtray. You can't reach the ashtray to get it. You have to disassemble it.
