I like the overall design, but there are a few serious flaws. First, it has a small diameter at the base, making most standard cup holders too wide for it. That means it wobbles in height. Secondly, the slot for the mouthpiece is too wide, so while driving you will find your lit cigarettes fall into the ashtray. You can't reach the ashtray to get it. You have to disassemble it. Now it's easy to take apart and definitely not easy to put back together when stuck in traffic at night. I've been in this situation a few times so far, so be careful. As we smokers know, leaving a lit cigarette in an ashtray with cigarette butts creates an uncomfortable situation. So if it falls out while driving, it must be removed from there. All in all I wouldn't buy this again. It wasn't designed by a real smoker behind the wheel. I went back to the drawing board and looked for a decent car ashtray because this isn't the right one.
