Just a thin rectangular sheet of neoprene. I need to mount it on my Rockshox Monarch RC3 Plus Debonair to see how it works. I'll update the reviews and check back once I've installed it. But if you are looking for sizes, my photos show them. Update: 14th February 2020 ---------------- I bought 2 of these - one will be used for my Rockshox Monarch RC3 Plus large canister and the second is for my 100mm Pipette Fox transmission with external drive. I have to say my initial thoughts were that neoprene sheets are thin but they are very strong and stretchable to conform to almost any shape and diameter slightly larger than the sheet width. These neoprene products are also water repellent, which means they are dirt and dust resistant. I went through an entire season (80+ rides) that was very wet and dusty at times with them on my rear shock and seatpost. I am very pleased with how well the Lizard Skins Shock Boot held up and protected both of my expensive components. My Rockshox Monarch RC3 Plus shock needed a rebuild last year and cost me $200 only to find it was dirty from all the dirt and water that got into the canister through the strut seal. Once the shock is in place, the shock stays clean even on the wettest of rides. I don't have to redo it again as the beat is still very smooth this time since the last redo. For my Fox Transfer Post I needed something to protect the outer cable drive as the drive could get caught in the sand and then get stuck. The rubber sleeve prevented the ingress of water and sand, and the actuation also worked on cold winter days, since penetrating moisture was no longer a problem. These neoprene shoes worked well and I bought a pair for my 140mm Rockshox Revelation fork. This neoprene can stretch a bit and is very durable, especially when transporting the bike from behind with wind forces that can rip any type of plastic packaging to pieces. The neoprene boot held back the force of the wind at high speeds of over 130 km/h (I'm a fast driver). With shock absorbers and dropper pin compression, the neoprene is still in very good shape. I just take off my boots every now and then to clean the outside of dirt and then wrap the rear shock and seatpost back around. I highly recommend it. Everyone who saw me with it on the shock and the dropper post gave me a strange look at first, until they realized that it protects the components from dirt. Then they said they would invest in it. Think about it, are you willing to pay over $200 every year to have your shock and drip racks overhauled? What about the cost of replacing these expensive components? This is the cheapest and best way to protect your shock absorbers, seat posts and maybe even wishbones.
