This is absolutely prefect for my 20lb pithuahua, she has always loved being close by especially at night, sleeping in bed with us.

She is getting older now and has developed back issues over the years that have led her unable to jump into bed or comfortably sleep with us, this was the PERFECT solution. I combined this purchase with a pet safe ladder that allows her to easily get in and out of bed without hurting herself! It took a few days to train her to use it properly/safely but once she got it down she gets so excited to go to bed every night!
