This belt is as good or better than the description. I'm 1 15/16" wide (vs. 1 7/8" in the product description) so be careful if you have a specific size belt mount. It fits snugly over the hinges of my Levi's 505 and looks great with jeans. It's a substantial 1/8 inch thick, but very soft and pliable. I think it gets distorted by the pant belt loop in the center back if worn too tight over time. I bought size M/L. My waist is 32-33 inches and the belt fits my waist through the 2nd to smallest hole. He can ride my thighs in the biggest hole ever. Rotating the hi-lo at an angle doesn't look good. There is no loop to attach the end of the strap, which can be as long as 9 inches in the smallest hole. I may need to add a black elastic when wearing the dress over the dress to keep it from dangling. The leather portion of the belt measures 42" and the holes start at about 3 1/2" and end at about 9 1/2". The black belt is a deep rich true black color. I can pair this with black suede boots and medium shine black riding boots.The buckle is a nice weight and the buckle and lugs are finished in a deep vintage brass colour.Love the design detail of the semi wrapped belt buckle and the hand stitched edge.This is a very versatile yet unique piece, which goes well with blue jeans or dresses or over blouses or sweaters I haven't bought a good belt in a long time but I think it's great value for money This is a classic style and a good wardrobe investment for the future I will look at Beltiscool products again for the unique style and great prices.
