I've had it for two years now and that's my opinion. Just get the Xbox One Wireless Controller if you want a completely hassle-free experience. OS = Win 8.1 Not a true plug and play device. You must first download the software from the Logitech website to complete the pairing. Once you have a connection, it works very well. But if you're done playing and unplug the nano receiver and plug it back in a few days later, the controller most likely won't connect right away. You need to get the receiver to identify the controller using the software provided by Logitech (Wireless Gamepad F710 Connect Utility). If other wireless devices are connected nearby, e.g. a Logitech Unifying receiver, for example, the signal can drop, but that hasn't happened to me often. If you're using it for a home theater PC, I highly recommend using the extension cable that came with it. On the other hand, my Xbox One wireless controller is ready to play as soon as I plug in the receiver. Perfect connection every time with no signal drops. No drivers or software are required. Just real plug and play. In fact, my Xbox One controller is so much more comfortable that I've stopped using the Logitech controller. In addition, the controller is very well made, it is very durable and has a good weight. The battery life is phenomenal too, I have yet to replace the included batteries as I bought it brand new.
