Review on PROGRESSIVE AUTOMATIONS Mini Linear Electric Actuator 12V – (1&#34 by Mark Adlesh

This was a simple replacement for the 4 inch Sea Ray motor used for the windscreen vent on my 340 Sundancer. Works perfectly! The craftsmanship looks great. I still give it 5 stars but wish the electrical cords coming from the unit were placed differently. This only applies to my use case. The OEM part had wires coming from the front of the motor where this model has it. comes out of the top of the engine. So I just had to bend it a little and it rubs the Sea Ray cover a bit. This is not the manufacturer's fault as I'm sure other uses will find it great where it is. This company has an excellent reputation in the marine industry for this use and the product lives up to that reputation.
