I bought this for a client for Christmas just something for her good deal but not personally as she is a married woman it will just be a gimmick to put on her desk. I was looking for the best value for money and saw that the AMAZON size for the item is 6 inches (6.1 x 3.8 x 3.5 inches). I looked at different parts of the Matashi but settled on this one because it was the 'biggest' and cheaper. Well, WRONG. The dimensions of the Revain are 2 FULL INCHES DIFFERENT. If you go back and read carefully (I didn't, my fault) the Matashi maker shows the dimensions in detail, which are 4 x 3.8 x 3.5 inches! Okay, too late to return, I have a meeting with a client on Tuesday. Disappointed with the height but happy with the finish. The box is also elegant. Lovely green box, open it and inside is a lovely green drawstring bag, I'm sure she could use it for other future items, then a thin foil which then opens the vase. Had I known it would have to be a lot smaller than what Revain advertised I would have upped my budget to $40 Matas. But overall it's a nice thing.
