I really wanted to love this set of reusable tampons. I like how classy they feel and they are easy to clean. I used them for two weeks to clean my ears after showering. While they look and feel good, I've been keeping an eye on them with a cotton swab. Each time, the cotton swabs collected any liquid left over from the reusable swab. It's just not an adequate replacement for cotton swabs. The product design is great; Delivery leaves a lot to be desired. For now I will continue to use cotton swabs. Update: I've decided to give these reusable tampons a second try, with a little tweaking. One of the reasons I wanted to love her is because I'm so sick of throwing away tampons and throwing them in the landfill and adding plastic to the environment. I continued with the traditional Q-Tip. This time I used a small square of toilet paper on a silicon pad to draw moisture out of my ear and it worked! Now I don't wipe cotton swabs anymore, but I feel like ridding my ears of water and a small amount of earwax. The advantage of using a swab pad is that I cannot unintentionally push the swab too far into the ear canal. I deducted a star because I had to find a workaround; however, it's a pretty good compromise.
