I like the Chase Harper 650 magnetic tank bag. I wish I had bought it ten or twenty years ago. On my '73 Triumph 750 Twin (with '72 steel tank) it sits perfectly just behind the gas cap, attaches securely with magnets and is easy to remove. (From the back of the gas cap to the step, the distance is about 15 inches, so there is enough space for the bag without any obstacles.) This way I have enough space to move the steering wheel left or right. Or check your legs. I don't get close to making contact with the bag when cornering or anything. I didn't choose to use the optional seat belt which is designed to attach the front of the bag to the steering column as magnets. seems to be working fine and I've now hit 65mph with some seasonal spring winds with no incident so far. Magnets work great and I won't be using the strap unless the bag lifts out of the tank, which I doubt. It appears to be securely attached. I can fit size 11 shoes in my bag, although it's a bit tight when I put them in. to them to fit comfortably, and on another occasion I carried my lunch in riding gloves and other things in a bag. In addition, the side, lid and inner pockets also hold a variety of items. I found the top open mesh pocket convenient for carrying clear glasses when I put on my riding sunglasses, and pull tabs on all zippers make it easy to open and close the zippers. I first looked at the bag and thought it might be too big, but it actually fits my tank perfectly. He is not too big and not too small. I thought maybe I should go for an expandable bag and I also searched 450 for smaller items and 950 because I thought maybe 650 wouldn't be big enough but now I realize 950 would be too big. too big for my tank. At around 5 inches tall, the 650 seems capable of carrying everything I need to commute back and forth to work and weekend trips each day. If I have to carry my laptop or something else, I put on my backpack. However, for 90% of my trips, this tank bag is absolutely perfect. I didn't use the included clear plastic card case that can be hooked onto the top of the bag if needed, and I took it off and put it on a shelf. in the garage if I ever need it in the future. I might use it one day, but I definitely don't need it now, and the tank bag doesn't let it through an iota. I am very happy that I have this tank bag. It works and it works well for me. I'm also glad the bag was made in the USA! This is good. driving safe.
