This is a stainless steel wash bowl for painting. Completely made of stainless steel, with silicone seal in the lid. It is 4 inches high and 3 inches in diameter. It has clips on opposite sides to hold the lid securely and a metal handle long enough to hang on hooks. It has a removable insert with drainage holes that allow pigment particles or clumps to settle out. I find that this tin goes very well with my brushes. On my regular paint bench, I use dishwashing cans, which work well. But now that it's getting warmer, I'd like to go outside to paint. With such a bench it is much more convenient to travel. Although the glass lids fit snugly and don't leak, they cannot easily hang from my easel. This steel jar has a lid that fits just as tightly as a stone jar, but it also hangs easily where I need it on my easel. Overall, this is a great accessory for painting outdoors or when traveling.
