Comfortable fit, too loose maybe wrong size

I liked how this product just slipped on my foot so easily. I followed the instructions for size fitting and ordered the larger size due to my 9W foot. However, when I put it on I thought it gave little compression compared to the one I bought at the store. Yet, the one that I bought at the store, always felt just a little too tight especially around my ankle. So although this felt more comfortable, I can't really say that I thought it gave me the compression, I was hoping for. Maybe I should have ordered the smaller size.
