First of all I would like to say that the product and its contents work great. The headband was a little fiddly to assemble, but it takes a little effort and you're done. A guide would be handy, but sorting it out isn't at all a hassle as the details of the headset are marked. If you can add 2+2 correctly, you can find out. Silicone cases for Quest 2 and its controllers are good. They're thick, flexible, and feel pretty good. They aren't sticky or feel weird like silicone. The face cap is also basic, good quality and easily fits over a standard foam face. It doesn't replace the interface, it just closes it. I actually thought it would be a front interface judging by the pictures but am not dissatisfied with the good silicone coating. Now the main disadvantage. For me it's just the quality of the workmanship, as it doesn't really affect the function of the product. The wristband that came with it works perfectly. It can be easily detached and securely fixed on the head. However, the plastic is the cheapest bloody horrible plastic I've seen in years, and the padding conveniently attached to the back of the strap is so thin it barely provides any cushion for your head, but still much better than a stretch fabric strap. Again, it attaches to the headgear with Velcro so it can easily be washed or swapped out or made into a custom pillow or similar. However, I don't understand why you need to buy a product that aims to improve the overall aesthetics and comfort of the product to possibly change or tweak the product, almost defeating its purpose. Nearly. I'm sure for some it won't affect them in any way. However, I will say that if you spend a little time refining the top Velcro and semi-halo style strap, you'll make it comfortable enough to last until your battery dies. $50 total; I think there are cheaper alternatives that have the exact same components for about a third less than this kit. My only real issue is that what is included is a bit overpriced in my opinion.
