Review on ☕ Clear Glass Coffee Server by Hario by Charlie Clayton

I bought one of these at a thrift store for about three dollars. That's when I fell in love with this pot for the first time. It does NOT drip which is amazing in the world of kettles. When it got a crack (from someone tipping a pile of dishes on it!) I didn't want to throw it away (although from previous experience cleaning broken glass I knew better that it could shatter on your hand). So I kept using it very carefully until one day I took my time and started washing the pot. Well it cracked and ripped my joint to the bone with real effect. I needed nine stitches in my right joint and had to miss work for twenty-four days until the joint healed enough to be able to use it again. I'm right-handed and use the computer every day at work. So, a warning from this story: handle it very carefully, hand wash and never place dishes on it and it shouldn't break at all. But if it suddenly breaks, don't hold it! The special heat-resistant glass is very sharp when broken and can cut you quite deep. (Just in case I only wash dishes with rubber gloves now, period.)
