Review on 🔊 Klipsch CDT-3650-C II In-Ceiling Speaker (White) – Exceptional Sound Quality (Each) by David Olson

Very easy install for me but I have replaced much older similar sized speakers. Unfortunately the old speakers were a bit larger so I had to use the existing brackets and covers rather than the nicer magnetic covers that come with the kit. Sound quality is what really counts, and these Klipsch CDT-3650-C IIs are a huge upgrade. Keep in mind that depending on the interior location and the type of construction of your home, their "ceiling" nature means that a large part of your home becomes a "speaker enclosure". This allows the fundamental frequency to be boosted and the high frequencies to be cut somewhat to create the effect of expanding a room (or concert hall). Depending on your taste, settings can be made with a sliding tweeter in the middle and a switch on the crossover, which is accessible from below near the edge of the device. Basically, I'm happy with the sound quality. These midrange drivers are very well made and sound as good or better than more expensive units of the same size.
