I got these because my left ear just hates earrings, it gets irritating easily, I bought them to wear when I'm not wearing other earrings. I just put them in as soon as I take out the others and leave them until next time. The backrests are bolted on and rest on my head when I sleep, the posts aren't too long, which helps. It takes practice to screw up your back, but it doesn't matter if I know my ear doesn't get swollen or hurt. They are beautiful and have retained their brilliance and shine. I gave my daughter a couple of pairs and she loves them too. I would recommend these earrings, they are great for sensitive ears.
