Review on 💧 Mudder 990-53 Humidifier Water Inlet Valve, Compatible with GeneralAire, 24V, 3.5 Gallon/hr, Solenoid Valve by Nathan Tank

This solenoid works and installs great, a direct replacement for a previous other manufacturer I had but eventually gave out. But it rattles so loudly that this type of solenoid valve just doesn't need to make that rattle or pop when it opens and closes. Mounted on a ducted humidifier, the sound propagates far up from the basement to the rest of the upstairs part of the house. Avoid this point if you appreciate finer work unless you need a signal notification that this valve is operational at the beginning and end of each heating cycle.
