This shovel is incredibly strong! It's spring in the Mojave Desert, and growing in my yard is a 50 foot tall mondel pine with buds at the tip of each branch that are turning from green to brown and falling like snow at this time of year. However, my gutter was filled front to back and top to bottom. I used a leaf rake and raked the buds, which were very heavy from getting wet, into a dozen or so big piles and turned on the dust pan. The pan, overflowing and heavy with debris, worked like a champ. I washed the dirt off the pan and put it away to prepare for another task. I would buy this again!
