Corsair CRYSTAL 570X RGB Mid-Tower Case disappointment Decided to build a new computer and bought what I was taught High end Corsair CRYSTAL 570X RGB Mid - RGB 3-Fan Tower Case Tempered Glass - White (CC-9011110-WW) Here are the problems and missing solutions I found when I compared this price to another case.1. The case comes with 3 RBG fans and a controller and controller buttons on the top panel. The fans are 120mm SP120 RGB LED fan, 12VDC, 0.3A, P/N 31-004314. BUT when I bought the CORSAIR iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU cooler for my AMD CPU, this cooler comes with two fans and one controller for a total of 6 fans and a USB port. Unfortunately, the case fans and cooling fans are not compatible, when I try to connect the cooling fans to the case controller, they don't light up. And when I connect 3 case fans to the cooler controller, those 3 don't light up either. So I had to buy a set of three new SP120 Pro fans so I could connect everything to the cooler controller and control all the fans from one controller.2. BUT, now the question is with the controllers. The original controller that came with the case has an extended cable that connects to the buttons on the top of the case, allowing the user to manually change the mode, color, and speed. With new fans on the cooler and new replaced fans on the case this controller is useless so I use the controller that came with the CPU cooler, it allows you to connect up to 6 fans BUT this controller only connects to USB and does not have a connector for manual adjustment buttons. Thus, the top control buttons become useless. Conclusion: It would be great if the case and other accessories such as the CPU cooler came with the same fan models, and it would be great if this more advanced LED controller, besides the USB port, had the additional ability to connect manual buttons, to allow the user to drive an RGB LED. either with the buttons on the top or with the software.3. Also, this iCUE RGB LED fan control software is VERY bad, hard to understand how to use, not very intuitive and user friendly. You will almost certainly have to read the manual to find out how to change the LED patterns, set the combination of some lights, etc. Again, just bad UI design and logic.4. In such an expensive case there is no possibility of installing the GPU vertically! There seems to be a place for it and you'd think the designers would offer an option with a bracket and cable to expand the PCIe and install the GPU vertically, but alas, nothing!5. Top case controls, missing HDD LED, reset button, and USB Type-C connector. Again, with a case this new, engineers would think users would use the new types on the MB, and most new MBs have one USB Type E to C connector, and it would be nice to have that one USB-C port on the top front, as well as a reset button and hard drive button. I was able to drill a hole for the USB-C port and reset button, I also installed an additional red LED on the front bottom Corsair logo and connected it to the HDD LED. (see image) but it would be nice if the manufacturer provided this from the start, just in case. Covers for the two USB ports are also welcome to keep dust and debris out of the ports when not in use. One last thing on this subject is the power on end connectors, the power led mb connector, instead of those single pins at the end of the cable to use the 10 pin connector as these connectors are now standard on the all MB.6s are. Hard drive power cables. It would be great if you included a hard drive power cable or two cables for 3.5 and 2.5 drives. Because the location for these drives is "non-standard", the length of cable required to connect power to these drives is non-standard. Now I refuse to use the cables that come with the Corsair 1200W PSU but they are too long, look ugly and take up too much space. It would also be great to have a swappable front panel where you can remove the bottom fan and install, say, an 8 x 2.5" drive bay in its place. The front and top glass should be easy to remove to clean the air filter, now you need to loosen 4 screws on each glass to clean the filters each time.
