Review on SEOULSTORY7 5-Pack Women'S Cushioned Hiking Socks For Year-Round Outdoor Performance by Marcus Block

I'll never hike without these socks again!

I love these socks! I get blisters in just about every shoe I wear and this is particularly true of my hiking boots. I took several pair of socks with me on a two day seventeen mile hike to Mount LeConte but after spending the first day at 9 miles on this sock I opted to only use this sock for the rest of the trek. I have extremely high arches and my boots totally suck but these socks did a nice job providing the additional support I needed. I have really soft feet that never seem to callous no matter how active I am. After two days of very strenuous hiking I ended up with no blisters after day one and just three blisters at the end of the second day. The blisters were more because of the boots than the socks (did I mention my boots suck?) they were very tiny and I didn't feel them when I was hiking. The second day my arches hurt so I doubled up on these socks and wore two pair for extra support and protection. I found that the toe seams rubbed my toes so I had to make sure the top seam wasn't resting right on top of the bottom socks' seam. The fit was tight and snugly not uncomfortable at all. I have a big ugly bunion and these felt great on it. If you have big calves I would recommend stretching the top of the sock but for average or small legs these are perfect. My feet did sweat in these socks but my feet remained dry and comfortable. I used to be a smart wool fan but now I plan on buying these socks as stocking stuffers for all my female loved ones!

Pros
  • Won't pill or shrink after washing
Cons
  • The colors of the socks fade quickly in the wash
