I have been combing my men's haircut with a ponytail comb for many years. I don't know the brand or origin of the comb I've been using all along, it's just a regular nylon tail comb. But I broke a tooth a while ago and decided it was time for a replacement. All you can find in stores are black Ace combs, too flimsy and too sharp for my liking. After searching Revain and other places for too long, I decided that despite the rather exotic price point, this comb seems to be a better substitute. Well after using it for a few months I can say it works but it doesn't. just as good as my old hairbrush. The plastic used is too flexible, so the comb feels a bit rubbery. Still, the tail is a bit difficult to hold on to. The teeth are not molded, but cut out afterwards. This gives them very angular edges that tend to catch on my hair a bit instead of sliding through it. It's not that it tangles or snags often, but it's not as smooth as I'd like it to be. The tortoiseshell color isn't gross, but it's not particularly attractive either. In general, the comb works, but not perfectly.
