I would rather have serrated folding clamps to use in combination with these clamps. I've used it on my Force Fin Keepers with the line through the grommet and it's been fine. I had to re-order extra large bungee cord clips from Revain for my stripping basket/net on my pontoon boat. They worked better when the bungee slides into a notched slot and then a cap is placed over the slot to lock the bungee in place. Super bungee adhesive in lid slot for extra strength and durability. I highly recommend this if you are fishing with a float tube. I emphasize that serrated snap clips should be available for attaching some types of hooks to bungee or elastic cords.
