Mold Star 15 can be cast at home without vacuum degassing. Low temperature alloys such as tin-bismuth-tin (58-42) can be poured into a silicone mold because it melts at 281 degrees Fahrenheit (138 degrees Celsius) and solidifies relatively instantly (unlike the large solidus-liquidus range).
