Update after original rating. Initially I gave 4 stars but after 5 months I increased it to 5 stars. I have two problems with this helmet. The nose piece, which prevents fogging of the shield, can be easily removed. I'm sure I'll lose it in the parking lot sometime in the future. While the quick release is great, sometimes it just doesn't latch properly. A slight tug sometimes loosens the strap. Other times I draw and it's perfectly safe. In a scoring situation, I hope he survives. As a new driver, I stick to back roads and low speeds. When I'm ready to hit the freeway, I buy a new helmet. ****Update**** Five months have passed. Miraculously, I haven't lost the bow yet. After putting the helmet on, once I made sure the quick release valve was fully closed, I had no more issues with it. My only problem at the moment is finding clear replacement shields. I found smoke screens and mirrors but it's not clear. I live in the Seattle area where visibility is gray and overcast 9 months of the year. A clear visor is a must. What gives?
