Here is the best installation sequence to fix confusing/poor installation instructions. 1) Download application, open it. Do not connect the monitor to a power source. 2) Create a new account or log into an existing one. 3) When the tutorial is opened in a web browser, it doesn't work. Go back to the Shulink+ app and read the tutorial4) Confirm the email address of the new account5) Go to the Shulink+ app, open Menu->Add Monitor. Register your monitor with S/N and PW on the small business card included in the box. Unable to connect (expected). Attach a serial number and password label to the monitor for future reference. 6) Now connect the "Battery" cable to the battery. Connect the charging plug to any charger up to 6A (guest 1.5A requires no modification. If your charger is rated for more than 6A, also connect the "charger” plug directly to the battery, to power Wi-Fi on the monitor Only voltage is displayed, no charging current 7) Turn off mobile data 8) Connect smartphone WiFi to "ShulinkXXXXX network” 9) Go back to web browser and refresh. Or select Menu->Settings to restart the tutorial and open your web browser now! 10) Connect to the router's WiFi. The monitor will restart. 11) Go to the Shulink+ app, wait a few minutes and then refresh. Mr Schmaker, are you listening carefully? The application needs improvement. Monitor Requires 10A or 20A internal current monitoring, or up to 600A current monitoring with external current shunt to also monitor current draw from loads (much more important!) Really weak WiFi (<10%<10' from router, improved 6dbi- Antenna). Try installing next to the router. You need an external antenna 2$ 2dbi, even a short external antenna cable.
