I bought a pair of these for my Corgi years ago. His were medium sized. He passed away so I used them in the lab/pit rescue. I have ordered more of *these* boots because the others I have ordered and tried were a waste of time and money. I saw a review about them cracking and yes the old stuff cracked. The manufacturer replaced the black material with a very dense one, similar to denim. Enlarge the image like I did and you can see it. I ordered a large one for my rescue because putting on the old means (until the new boots arrived) was a hassle due to their dew claws. They *don't fall off* if I make sure her leg is all the way in and pull the velcro really tight. Who wants to walk out in the sub-zero temperatures at 3 a.m. in a bathrobe? She doesn't seem to mind the tightness and walks up and down stairs with ease! The plus size comes with a lot less fuss and helps my delicate southern beauty endure our very cold Wisconsin weather long enough to mind business. I don't have to push her anymore, and it doesn't break my heart to see her raise her paws when she's clearly in pain from the extreme cold. If the shoes fall off, it can be attributed to a user's fault and not the manufacturer's. These are the best boots ever. I ordered extra because I really like them! Codes for the people who make these boots. PLEASE keep it up! This fur mom is very thankful for your product!
