It might be ok to walk your dog on the sidewalk but it was great for my dog, a boxer/pete mix who loves to run in the snow they useless. Full of snow and kept falling no matter how hard we tugged. I'll try them when it's below zero to stop peeing and see how it goes.

Got it while visiting a family with hardwood floors in our lab. I didn't want the dog scratching the floor. Worked while the dog carried them (he hated carrying them). Easy enough to attach. The problem was that the shoe only lasted 5-15 minutes and then fell off. Then you have to catch up with the dog and put it back on. and again and again and again.

My dog hates them but that's to be expected. Despite having a ridiculously long Velcro strap that would honestly wrap around a human ankle, they turn over so the top is on the ground and slide off when it can. We gave up trying to get him to wear them. They are also really made for cold weather as the material inside is like fleece and they are definitely not breathable.

Boots worked well and stayed. I have a golden retriever who is 1 year old and loves to run as fast as he can on concrete. That's why we got the boots because his paws were torn. The boots fit him perfectly, let him walk like a horse, but they did the job. I already have to buy new shoes even though I've only had them for a month. I recommend getting a more durable boot if you have a fast, large dog, but if you're hiking these boots are great.
