I bought this harness after trying the cat harness that came with it and it failed miserably. I have successfully tested this new harness several times on my only cat. Of course, my cat is a bit shy outside and has never tried to run away. I followed all the advice and bought a large one that seems to fit well. So far, so good. I like the extra clasp at the neck. Also, my cat likes to roll on the floor and the harness is stuck. I also prefer the bungee style leash. I also noticed that the harness and leash combination makes it easier for the cat to move in the right direction.
