Review on Renewed Blue AT&T Apple iPhone XR, 64GB - US Version by Taufik Mohd Ghazali ᠌

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

As I've always been curious about Apple's products, I decided to purchase one of their phones to try out. As a whole, I am pleased, however there are a few issues. The phone's menu is too complicated for my parents to use, therefore I wouldn't recommend it to them. If I can't change anything, it's not broken; I'll use the default settings. A stable working phone that can actually do what it's supposed to do is crucial to me. There were smartphones from a wide variety of manufacturers, from high-end Pixel and Galaxy models to cheaper no-name alternatives. Even though I've never been a fan of the 2-year "slaughter period" that most tech firms subject their customers to (with the exception of the Pixel), I caved and bought an iPhone in the hopes that it would last me at least a couple of years without any major issues. After over a year of use, I've moved past the first "Android withdrawal" phase, settled on this as my primary device, and am now generally pleased with it. My eyes are sensitive to amoled matrices, thus it's great that this is one of the few flagship products with an ips display. I've left truetone and auto brightness on this device, despite the fact that I always disable the latter on Android and find it useful only on the iPhone, where it nets me a whole five points. Such insignificant aspects are crucial in shaping one's opinion of the gadget. Liked the face ID and wallet, but disliked that it was not Android-based.

Pros
  • Beautiful touch screen, good autonomy, I enjoy the camera, both shots and videos. I opted for a yellow phone since I enjoy the cheerful hue. For me, a high level of waterproofing is a must (during the pandemic, my phone is washed with soap). The speakers and the Bluetooth are fantastic. The freedom to decide for myself is something I value greatly.
Cons
  • Heavy. Large frames that don't get in the way. After using androids, the OS's invasive proximity quickly became irritating. The menu is difficult to navigate, much like the menus on Windows Phone devices. There are issues with both YouTube and the Chrome web browser. Because the system forces its own version of Safari on users, many apps perform worse than they do on Android (banking applications, shopping applications .). There is a sense of slowness in the system compared to android. The gesture controls in Android are more refined and user-friendly. It's disappointing that the company seems reluctant to install a second SIM card. Poor oleophobic coating right out of the package (this is even before I started washing the phone under running water). It doesn't have the luxurious feel of my prior cheap brand with a ceramic body that I bought for 15k, and it's also substantially slower than my old phone.
