Overall it's functional. Right after I put the cover on the sofa, my dog peed on it, but I immediately wiped it down with a towel and it wiped off immediately. Of course, you should also process it and clean it for cleanliness. The size of the cover was not optimal for my sofa and the two-seater sofa. Maybe it depends on the sofa/double chair but it hardly matches my furniture. The stitching where the cushions meet the armrests didn't quite come together in the right place, they were a bit short. Maybe it's also because my back pads are very soft, but the back cover that's supposed to drape the bodice was a bit short. It got to the point where the strap holding it in place didn't even overlap to hold it. The elastic at the front of the sofa was also placed too high on the fabric so it just barely caught the corner cushions of my sofa. In terms of looks, it's not the prettiest of looks. I wish there were sofa covers that would enhance the look of sofas and not scream I'm a dog sofa cover.
