Review on ACDelco 96930074 Original Equipment Water by Josh Lockhart

I would not recommend this item if it is the same as a GM OEM water pump. ACDelco apparently sells two versions of the same water pump. One is a genuine GM part, the other is an upgraded unit from the "Professional" line. The professional version of this pump has the following part number: 252-888. At the time of writing, it's priced at about half the price of this pump and appears to be all-aluminum construction, a must-have improvement over the original GM.
