The power switch is a joke. I tapped it a few dozen times to turn it on but nothing. Then I held it for 5 seconds and it turned on and started showing the temperature on the digital display. Nowhere in the book does it say you have to continuously press for 5 seconds to turn it on. So I can only assume that it is defective. It took me forever to try to turn it off that I just turned it off. Also, nowhere in the book does it say to press the power button to increase the temperature. Also, there's no zoom out button, so you have to press it all the way down to go back to the beginning, which is stupid. heat it up Yes. It spins right? I have fine, straight hair so it was difficult to hold onto when the barrel was so smooth, but that's my problem, not the product's. It's too expensive to send back because I don't have Prime. So I take over the costs for this bad purchase. By the way, hair clips are made of plastic, not metal. One of the positive points is that this is a very nice product.
