The instructions recommend using a marker to center the bezel prior to installation. I suggest that you follow this suggestion and don't "swipe". Do not ask. I bought this item for the looks, but it will make it easier for you to read the speedometer in direct sunlight and at night. looks great installed and fits perfectly.
