Length seems suitable for 4t but over 3t wide. I got it in 4t for my two boys who are 3 tall and skinny and almost 2 who wear 4t pants because he is built as a linebacker. It looks good on both of them but will definitely fit snugly around the chest before either of them grows too long. The hood is unusable. Even in a 22-month-old, it doesn't go past the middle or top of the head. It's literally tiny. My boys prefer hats anyway, so we don't care. Looks good and feels good.
