Review on ☕ Coffee Studio 50 Oz French Press by Karen Mabey

I've tried pretty much every plastic-free French press on Revain and sent them back with fatal flaws. This is an error, but I can work around it. The filter does not fit snugly in the carafe, so LOTS of coffee grounds get into the coffee when the coffee is poured. I solved this problem by pouring through a fine sieve. It's annoying but manageable. Also very very disappointed that it is made in China. I can try buying extra screens and see if that helps but the thing is there is too much space between the filter and the carafe. Update 11/27/20: I hated that press. Nothing I do decreases the number of bases. I even tried 3 screens. The butt is just too narrow. When I pour coffee I have to pour it through a fine mesh strainer :( I'm looking for something else.
