Like many others they said:

Requires a gasket/rubber between cap and plunger as cap is loose and seems to break easily. While the pot itself is stylish, well made and I love the size, the dip and filter parts feel cheap and not fully functional. I haven't decided yet if I'll keep it, I expected more for the price.

Pros
  • coffee, tea and espresso
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Beautiful press in the kitchen and dining room

All made of metal and ceramics, no cheap plastic. It's not durable but beautiful, looks great on my desk while I fill my mug and work, and makes plenty of coffee. The sieve is quite dense - do not grind the coffee too finely and stir it before pressing, otherwise the coffee spoils easily. It's everything I wanted, glad I found it cheaper than Macy's or Bed and Bath.

Pros
  • House and kitchen
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Too loose for good bottom filtration / Made in China

I've tried pretty much every plastic-free French press on Revain and sent them back with fatal flaws. This is an error, but I can work around it. The filter does not fit snugly in the carafe, so LOTS of coffee grounds get into the coffee when the coffee is poured. I solved this problem by pouring through a fine sieve. It's annoying but manageable. Also very very disappointed that it is made in China. I can try buying extra screens and see if that helps but the thing is there is too much space…

Pros
  • Coffee Makers
Cons
