For what you pay for this is a great product but after further study and thought. I realized that my Samsung 860 Pro had actually snatched this Silicon Power drive (128MB and 1TB) and the Crucial MX500 that I also bought out of the water. When I initially compared the Silicon Power, Crucial MX500, and Samsung 860 Pro drives, they were relatively the same, and I was surprised and pleased with my new purchase. By the way I'm still happy because in real situations and in what I do I personally don't notice any difference BUT for those who do. Crucial MX500 drives, but then I found that my main drive (Silicon Power) was connected to a faster Sata III port, which I originally thought was the same speed, and when I was testing the Crucial MX500, it was it's also a clone (Silicon Power) main drive on the same faster SATA III connector. In short, the Samsung 860 Pro was practically neck and neck with (Silicon Power) and (Crucial MX500) while only on Sata II, and the Crucial MX500 and Silicon Power were on Sata III at the time of my first comparison. Realizing my mistake, I booted into the operating system on a Samsung 860 Pro, which was the only way to honestly compare all three drives, and this kid (Samsung 860 Pro) cleaned the house with read and write speeds that were consistent and in of the 425 were - 450+ MB range. So no photos to hand that I can submit later. It's important to compare apples to apples, and when you buy a new drive, you're destined to be your main drive. It's very likely that the drive you recently bought uses the faster SATA port available and comparing it to your old drive could be an unfair comparison which I'm sure these manufacturers know all too well. Some SATA ports at SAME speed will be nice from motherboard manufacturers who are still putting USB 2.0 ports on motherboards in 2021, which is ridiculous in my humble opinion! I hope this helps someone make a decision and I still love my Silicon Power & Crucial MX500 drives but now I really like my new Samsung 860 PRO.
