I just received this and was able to put it to use immediately on something I'm assembling. The unit came very neatly boxed. It included batteries and it is trivial to use. Put in 3 of the batteries and flip the switch. Immediately it emits a cross hatch pattern of laser light. It comes with a clamp that also services as a stand alone mount. I immediately rested it on my work area and used it to align some wood cuts. Very easy to use and it works great.

I bought one of these and a similar model, the Hammerhead HLCLG01. Both are nearly identical in size and seem to work exactly the same. This one came with a case large enough to hold two of the units and a small L shaped magnetic bracket that I would assume you stick on metal studs? I prefer the other one I got based on it's slightly lighter weight and it came with a small enough pouch that I could attach it to my belt. But this one seems slightly more durable. And the yellow color helps people

I bought this laser level to help me run lines of tape for a painting project in our nursery. Came out perfect. I also double checked with my 4ft bubble level and it was always spot on. Green is the color human's eye's pick up the most (as it has the most energy) so I opted for a green version. Often times I find the red lasers aren't bright enough. This level works perfectly. I see so many people. Complaining about the rechargable batteries not working. They Come wrapped in plastic. Obviously remove this plastic and open the battery door. Match up, plus and minus which is engraved under the battery door. Batteries come Fully charged. Hope people read this so they stop posting. False reviews on a good product!

I've included pictures of the box contents. That's nice to see sometimes. The manual isn't the best, but this is fairly easy to figure out. Press the top button for a few seconds to turn it on. In "Locked" or "Manual" mode, it can be used at any angle. It flashes slowly, which is okay, but I wish it also had the option in this mode to keep it on constantly. Even so, it does the job. This self leveling laser does its job perfectly and made my life so much easier. I’m Using it daily for my home renovation project and am loving so far. It is a better value than so called similar brand name items. Green laser makes it easier to see the line in low light too.

This laser is excellent. I was comparing to the expensive $200 DeWalt units etc which I don’t need long term since I’m not in construction. I didn't get anything describing how this worked, so had to look up online how to use it. It's not hard, and it works great once you know which button does what and what the blinking means.FYI: top button blinks slowly to let you know it's not using the auto-levelling, side slide turns on auto leveling. If it's too far off for the auto-level to work it blinks fast, if it's level it's solid.

This item was a joke, and it wasn’t cheap. It didn’t work and by the time I got around to trying to use it - you guessed it. Return window up. That’s my own fault. No directions, at least no directions that made sense.

Works great! A must-have for any building or renovation project. Everything goes faster and eliminates many problems along the way. Green laser lines are easy to see.

Excellent Laser Cross Line, it can ne used as vertical only and Horizontal Only . The laser line in the wall is very strong and perfect defined to mark it with a pencil if needed. The material feel strong good quality construction. I recommend it.

This thing is a cinch to use and is very accurate. I'm using it to set cabinets and tile. This thing is a blessing as it saves time and provides more accuracy than measuring tapes and bubble levels.

I’ve never been good with the little bubble levelers because I don’t know if I’m reading it correctly. This is so easy to use and fun too. Something about it being digital gives me confidence. As others have noticed be sure to take the wrapping off the batteries. It takes a little fidgeting at first but then it is easy.
