Review on Shure Digital Condenser Microphone Lightning by Roberto Evans

I just received this mic and it works really great. I bought this for my wife to try out recording my students (clarinet) with my iPhone 6S and not only does it look amazing it sounds great to my aging ears (her ears are fine and she loves it). Compared to their iPhone6S mic, this mic is like comparing a Chevy Impala to a Tesla. The free app is also very cool, it records with the press of a button and the gain is set automatically. Even if you smack the app hard in auto-gain mode, it doesn't break and at the same time picks up whispers from 2ft away from the mic, so the app is also very reliable. I'm very glad I bought it and am considering buying one for myself. I do a lot of audio work (not professional) and I would say the audio recorded on their phone is very comparable to the Sure SM58 audio connected to the iPhone via XLR via iRig PRE and yes I have this setup, so i know where i am speaking from.
