I have curly hair, and have been wanting to try a brush like this as I imaged the ball tip bristles would be able to reach deep down to the roots while the boar bristles would slick down the top hairs. This brush does just that. The description says it works well for blow drying. However, I pretty much never blow dry my hair. So, I have only used it on wet/damp hair. The ball pins don't seem to pull and snag my hair like some other ball pin brushes have. I do have thin hair. So, I can not attest to whether it works well for those with thick hair. The rattail comb is a nice addition for those needing it. I haven't used it as I already had one. I mainly just wanted the brush. It is easy to clean, I feel as though the vents help with that.
