I bought this to replace my mechanical braking system with a fully hydraulic braking system on my kart. The combination with a quad style shared master cylinder and 3 foot brake hose allows me to lock up my 22 inch rear wheels with ease. I stopped at 25mph in 15-20 seconds with my mechanical caliper and also stopped immediately with the 8mm x 1.25 pitch hydraulic caliper for mounting. It also has 10mm x 1.25 spacing for the banjo bolt if you want to add a brake light banjo bolt switch like I did.
