Damn good, this is my first ultrasonic cleaner. I use it primarily for engine parts, am in the process of rebuilding an outboard motor and wanted to clean a lot of the lower mounting hardware that is either caked with grease/oil or is on the outside and covered in a hard salty substance from working in the salt. Water. I used a simple 10:1 diluted water solution of Simple Green Pro HD Cleaner & Degreaser and it ate pretty much anything I threw at it. Some salty things I ran for 5-10 minutes then went over it with a pickaxe to break it up and then started again which made it a lot faster. Most metal pieces, depending on where they are baked, can take 10 to 60 minutes to fully clean. The heating works well, has survived 60 degrees without any problems, I have not tried it hotter. The stainless steel shell and exterior look nice and clean. I will say that this device is quite loud, I left it running in my garage and when I was there I had to put on headphones as they make a kind of ringing sound while running. No big deal as long as it works. The size is suitable for small to medium parts, but for larger items 12 liters (or more) would be nice.
