Review on Bridgestone Turanza T005 205/55 R16 91W summer by Wiktor Lipski ᠌

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Bought Bridgestone Turanza T005 215/55 R16. Made in Hungary. I ride for a week, a Peugeot 308 car. Before that, I had an ER300 from Spain in the same size. Advantages: 1. Pretty quiet. Compared to the ER300, it's not audible at all. You could hear the engine running. Soft, elastic. The suspension also fell silent. 2. Good dry grip. Yuzanut does not work. Compared to the ER 300, even a little better. Haven't ridden on wet roads, no rain yet. Of the minuses: 1. Soft thin sidewall, I'll see how it behaves. ER 300 without cones 50 thousand km. wear was 50%, old already, 8 years old, and therefore changed. 2. Soft sidewall feel in corners. With a pressure of 2.0 leads away, pumped up to 2.2. Became louder suspension, cornering a little better, but not much. 3. The run-out of the car has slightly decreased, I suspect that the consumption of gasoline will slightly increase. Wanted to buy T001. Either the factories were stopped, or something else, I did not find. Found in Vedropro 2 pcs. for 17 years, one for 16, one for 13. With T005 in my size in Hong Kong is no longer there. Recommended for those who like soft rubber. They would return the ER300, I would take it without hesitation.

Pros
  • Rubber is quiet. Good dry grip
Cons
  • Thin soft sidewall.
