We like the device itself and its water resistance. We use this in a custom speaker cooler we made for our floating voyages. The only thing I would recommend is to make the remote waterproof. The remote got wet when some water got on it and now it doesn't work. We replaced the battery twice to check. Unfortunately, the device won't turn on without remote work, so we'll probably have to buy a new device, which sucks, but that's it. It works great when we've used it. Just make sure to keep the remote in something tightly locked.
