Display does not light up. it is impossible to configure anything, although the connected constant performance storage will not stay on bluetooth. Overall the sound is good. I bought it for $20 but could have just bought a small receiver. It sucks, but it's not. I can't return it because I bought it a long time ago.

The first unit I ordered wouldn't turn on. Great customer service, sent a replacement without sending the old one first. I can't see the display like the picture so it's hard to tell what mode I'm in. Good output power and good range for Bluetooth.

You get what you pay for. Bluetooth stopped working after 6 months. I went back to USB and after 6 months, after changing the battery, the device does not turn on via the remote control. You spend extra money for better quality. Worst of all, I should have known better to buy a device that only works with the remote control. lol

The product photo is deceptive. No display, just a red/green LED. It's almost impossible to tell what you're actually doing and what mode you're in. The equalizer cannot be used without knowing what you are doing other than beeping here and there as feedback. Bluetooth pairing is a pain in the back. The sound quality is pretty bad. The first device I received didn't even work. I think for $20 it's almost not worth the headache. Take a slightly more expensive device, save yourself the headache.

We like the device itself and its water resistance. We use this in a custom speaker cooler we made for our floating voyages. The only thing I would recommend is to make the remote waterproof. The remote got wet when some water got on it and now it doesn't work. We replaced the battery twice to check. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! the sound quality and performance that this little device possessed. It effortlessly pushed 4 6 inch marine speakers. Nevertheless, it took a trip and the device was connected, but did not turn on another minus. Great price, pretty easy to set up. My device's display shows nothing but a red light indicating power is present or a green light indicating power is on. The indicator for Bluetooth or other modes is not displayed.
