Well I'll compare the Wahl 5 Star Magic to the Elite Pro. I think Magic Clip for professional use. I'm not a professional hairstylist but I've been doing fading for myself and my friends for many years. I wanted to buy a Wahl professional hair clipper to take it to the next level. Boy was I wrong. The Magic Clamp came with the cheapest guards you can find. The motor should be the most powerful, but my elite pro home clippers feel a lot more powerful than the Magic Clip. Elite Pro also comes with the best professional metal floor fenders. The magic clip had trouble trimming my beard and the fading came out too unevenly. To be honest I wanted to try again so I gave two of my friends a haircut with a magic hair clip and the result was the same. I personally think the Elite Pro is much better and more suited to home use than professional use. Also, the magic clip got so hot that I had to let it sit to cool. This clipper was the biggest disappointment.
