I bought these not knowing what to expect other than reviews. I needed a light on the front of my caravan where the batteries are. I like to play around with solar, inverter and batteries. I always needed a flashlight and it hurt to hold it when I was doing something. The room is about 2.5 feet high, maybe 2 feet deep and 8 feet wide. I put 3 of these in the top of the compartment and connected them to my solar charger. I can push a button and turn them on. Well, if only I had done that sooner! These 3 LED sets illuminate this entire area very well. I now have many spare parts for other projects. For others who complain, well they will always be here. Just solder and shrink them when needed, or just twist and glue them if you don't have anything else on hand. They have worked great for me and are very cheap. I believe they are exactly as described and worked better than expected.
