Works well and seems reliable. I was a bit paranoid about losing my coin to open it, so bring a few things to open it. It's decent when it comes to being bulky and fitting in a backpack with other gear. It's a bit on the heavier side, but not bad. I think if I was in a group of more than 2 people I would like to have a second one or more. I've had some issues with my rusty barrel that I put all my flavored stuff in, but I think I could tweak a little more. For example: if you know you're going to eat dehydrated foods, just open them up and push all the air out. Cut down on your toiletries, too. You don't need a whole tube of toothpaste or a whole roll of dental floss.
