Review on TESmart DisplayPort Switcher Supports Devices Computer Components by Michael Tegan

So far, so good. 3440x1440 @ 144Hz with G-Sync!

I was looking for a Displayport KVM to use with my LG 3440 x 1440 @ 144Hz monitor so it could be shared between my Macbook and a gaming PC. Technically this product is only DP 1.2 which isn't good enough for the advertised resolution and refresh rate, but I've been using it for a few days and it's been working great so far. With the click of a button I can switch between my Macbook and get the full 144Hz of my display and peripherals and then switch to my gaming PC and use G-Sync with no issues (it's a Freesync display and uses G-Sync ). with my 1080ti). The only thing I would like to point out is that the keyboard and mouse ports were a little buggy for me. My Logitech mouse made some strange movements and at times it seemed like certain button presses weren't registering. Also, my RGB backlit keyboard lit up, but I couldn't type anything. It's not really a big deal to me because I use a hub connected to a USB 2.0 port to transfer keyboard, mouse and audio between computers and it's been fine. The only downside would be that you can't use keyboard shortcuts to switch between inputs. That being said, it has a button on the front and a remote that can switch between computers, so it's small. I will update this review if it stops working or if I encounter any problems.
